Amitzim: Adventure Camps

sessions are a mix of urban and wilderness adventures, day trips and overnight escapades. Each of the nine, one-week sessions features a unique theme, so campers who want more can have new experiences throughout the summer.

Leadership Opportunities

Counselors-in-Training - CITs

Grades 9 - 10, June 14 - July 9, July 12 - August 6

CITs get hands-on experience in group leadership, child development and conflict resolution. Program includes Yosemite camping trip and other camp outings.

Junior Counselors

Grades 11 & 12, June 14 -July 9, July 12 - August 6

Junior counselors work with young campers, receive leadership training and help to develop programming. Must have a minimum of one summer as a camp CIT.

GADS Grads - For Girls

Grades 6 & 8, June 28 -July 9

GADS Grads get hands-on leadership experience. Grads will learn how to teach and spot gymnastics, help campers in the art room and learn a special dance routine. Recreational swimming included.
